Lucent Petroleum is a privately owned Kazakhstan based oil and gas exploration and production company with a primary interest in acquiring and developing assets in the North Caspian Basin, onshore western Kazakhstan.
The Brief
Lucent Petroleum had a basic WordPress site that failed to reflect their 15 years of regional experience. They lacked the professional design and corporate content needed to build trust with investors and partners. The goal was to build a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) section from scratch, overhaul the visual storytelling, and launch the site within a very tight two-month window.
The Solution
I led a complete redesign of the platform, working directly with the leadership team to ensure the CEO’s vision was met. I designed a new homepage that offers clear entry points for different stakeholders. Key features included a visual history timeline and I helped categorise and visualise their social and environmental impact using custom infographics.
The Result
Despite the high-pressure two-month deadline, I successfully launched the site before Christmas. The final product is a professional corporate tool that effectively tells the company’s 15-year story, strengthening their credentials as a responsible business partner in the energy sector.
